Pat says: I enjoy spending time with family and friends, photography, writing for Hubpages and of course shopping. I also puts my accountancy training to use in volunteer jobs.
I often extol the virtues of learning new things, and going new places. I try to put this into practice in my life.
My most recent theatre visit was to the Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London to see "All's Well that Ends Well". I always enjoy the atmosphere at the Globe, but have found that it is necessary to plan ahead to avoid being terribly uncomfortable. On previous occasions I have been too cold to enjoy the play - this time I took extra layers.
The last film that I saw was “Horrible Bosses". I thought that it was a bit wooden in parts, but on the whole it made me laugh.
My current project is learning to speak basic Italian; Wonderful Husband and I are having weekly lessons. A very kind friend has volunteered to teach us. She has already demonstrated great depths of patience as I struggle to get my tongue around new words.
I have just finished reading "The British Museum is Falling Down" by David Lodge.
Tricia is the technical expert for Look Lovely. She is also the generator of ideas and finder of mistakes. An ex primary school teacher she discovered the benefits of Pilates and turned Pilates Instructor.
Her interests include family and friends, reading, lifelong learning, sailing, visiting the gym and swimming (or rather relaxing in the jacuzzi).
